Tunnel Vision

A picture named periscope.jpg

Looked at the rough cut of the promo for Tunnel Vision, the FIRST documentary. I thought it looked pretty dang good. There were a few shots missing but overall the tone and tempo were there. We spent some time afterwards developing the story for The Major, the SECOND documentary. The slate of films is moving forward and all seems to be coming together rather nicely. Disappointing news, David Oklahoma, one of the producer/writers is relocating soon. Harrumph.

Other important news! I’ve signed on to do a audio/video training series of books for Thomson Publishing. I am going to be a published author! How exciting is that?! Well, pretty exciting for me. According to their website, Thomson had revenues of $7.44 BILLION last year with $2.1 BILLION of it in the area of education and learning.

They go on to say that, ” Thomson Learning delivers state-of-the-art, tailored learning solutions for individuals, businesses and institutions around the world. We deliver these solutions through specialized content, applications and services that foster academic excellence, professional development and measurable competitive advantage.” So, I’m awfully glad to be on board. My BETA set for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Quark is scheduled to be completed by January!

The next series I’m planning is Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Shake and Maya!
