I’m getting excited for Sundance 2004. Last year, we saw D.E.B.S., the short film by Angela Robinson at the festival. I notice that this year, D.E.B.S., The Feature-Length Movie is in production in Los Angeles. Brown University graduate Robinson received a lot of support from PowerUp. It will be interesting to see how she stretches a short spoof into a full-length film. On a personal note, I had collected three of the four D.E.B.S. trading cards in Park City (and a poster taped onto a newspaper vending machine). Fortunately, Alec (my determined 15-year-old) met up with Ms. Robinson on a shuttle and asked for the remaining card. She gave him the card making my set complete. How cool is that?
