Whale Rider opened in Phoenix this weekend. Great film that won the International film award at the Sundance Film Festival in January. Time to get to the theatres!
The Last Roundup?, Laurie Fagen’s documentary was screened in Phoenix last week at First Studio. Shot on DV, edited using Final Cut Pro at Postal, a terrific post house (also located at First Studio, 631 N. 1st Avenue in downtown Phoenix.) Well-shot, nicely produced piece on a cattle round-up in the Arizona high country. It features rancher, inventor and helicopter pilot, Harry Robertson. Catch it when it makes the festival circuit.
